We’ve all had great restaurant experiences, but it’s hard to convey what it’s like to dine with no roof over you but the stars, no windows, and the only view across the darkness the towering majesty of Uluṟu. Table 131, organised by Longitude 131°, was the perfect way to end my stay in Uluṟu. After a feast of local flavours, the resident star talker sets up the telescope and we saw Saturn clearly under a blanket of stars.
Longitude 131° offers 15 luxury tents and is one of the finest luxury camps in the world.
The room rate includes signature experiences, all meals and most beverages. As there are quite a few experiences to be had, if you want some down time, I recommend staying an extra night. The Luxury tents are spacious and have floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy your own private view of Uluṟu.
